Isabelle’s Bridal Session
Woohoo, Isabelle is FINALLY married! That means that I get to share her gorgeous bridal session at Carrollock Farms in Willow Spring, NC, from August with all of you. Bridal sessions are common and considered a southern tradition in North Carolina.
A bridal session is a pre-wedding photoshoot where the bride is in her full wedding attire including hair, makeup, veil, and bouquet. Wedding days can be very fast-paced and follow strict timelines. Bridal portraits give the bride a chance to take unhurried portraits. It is also a great time to test out hair and makeup before the big day. The hardest part is trying to keep everything a secret!!
Isabelle did her bridals at her wedding venue, Carrollock Farms, in Willow Spring. Carrollock is such a beautiful venue featuring a red barn, serene pond, bubbling creek, and glowy light. I love being a preferred vendor at Carrollock. I know that my brides have not only chosen a picturesque venue, but that they are in the best hands and will be well taken care of.
You would never know from the photos, but we debated on cancelling the session due to weather. We were supposed to have thunderstorms throughout the area. The day before our session, we almost called it. However, North Carolina weather is unpredictable. We decided to wait until the next day and I am so glad that we did! We ended up with such glowy lighting and clear skies!
Isabelle was such a classy and stunning bride. I absolutely loved her dress with it’s floral details and elegant train. Her mom also joined us during her session. I loved getting to know both of them prior to the wedding day! It was so sweet watching her mom take it all in.
I had a blast capturing Isabelle’s bridal session at Carrollock Farms and I absolutely cannot wait to share more about Isabelle and Jamar’s October wedding!
