Highland Cow Mini Sessions

For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of hosting fall themed Highland Cow Mini Sessions at Awaken Acres, (formerly, Pleasant Coates Farm) in Benson! These sessions are always so much fun for me and my clients. Who doesn’t love miniature highland cows?!

What is a mini session?

A mini session is a shorter version of a full session. My minis typically last 10-15 minutes and they are stacked in a specific time block at a location that I choose. I usually include 5-8 images with the option to purchase additional photos. I only offer mini sessions a few times a year and they can be found here.

Awaken Acres

Last year, I hosted Fall Highland Cow Minis at Pleasant Coates Farm (now, Awaken Acres) and they were a huge hit! Between the adorable highland cow and the picture perfect background, I sold out! So this year, I contacted the new owners, Lindsay + Stewart, to ask if they were still offering sessions with the cows. Luckily, they were and I was able to get on their calendar!

Awaken Acres has a little something for everyone. From the beautiful barn, friendly farm animals, and gorgeous greenhouse to the wooded area, cute airstreams, and pond. There is no limit for the amazing photos and locations on the property! Lindsey and Stewart were so welcoming and made the whole booking process and handling of the animals so easy. The Minis

When it came time for the mini sessions, set up was a breeze. Stewart kindly helped me unload the arches and I got to work on decorating them before my clients arrived. Shiloh, the newest mini highland, was such a good boy and my clients absolutely loved him!

I am so lucky to be able to photograph so many amazing clients every year and it is thanks to them that I can continue to do what I do. Please enjoy the last two years of highland cow minis!
